Part of Our Foreign IP Series: Visit to the Indonesian Consulate General in Guangzhou

As part of our ongoing exploration into international intellectual property (IP) frameworks, we had the honor of visiting the Consulate General of Indonesia in Guangzhou. We sincerely thank the Provincial Chamber of Commerce and Industry for organizing this valuable exchange, and we are especially grateful to Vice Consul General Ms. Lu Xi for meeting with us despite her demanding schedule.

During the meeting, we held an in-depth discussion with Ms. Lu Xi regarding Indonesia’s approach to intellectual property protection. She shared detailed insights into the Indonesian government’s commitment to IP enforcement and addressed our questions thoroughly. In addition, Ms. Lu Xi spoke candidly about the IP challenges Indonesian companies have encountered while entering the Chinese market, offering practical perspectives and firsthand experiences.

This meaningful dialogue not only deepened our understanding of the Indonesian IP environment but also strengthened our capacity to support clients seeking to enter the Indonesian market.
